Why second session is very important?
The second session in therapy is crucial because it transitions from initial information gathering to active, collaborative work, building upon the foundation established in the first session. It is a vital step for establishing momentum, deepening trust, and, in many cases, initiating deeper exploration of the core issues. Moving from Assessment to Action: In the second session, the focus shifts from just defining the problems to actively developing strategies and tools to manage them. Checking Progress and Reviewing Interventions: The therapist will typically check in on how the client felt after the first session and discuss any new, relevant developments, ensuring the treatment is moving in the right direction.
